Nicholas Furio of Dei Giovani, the Ultimate Italian Clothier, has allowed The Dooley Blues Band to advertise the March 18th performance at Ballydoyles in Downers Grove, Illinois. In a prominent location in their Madison Street window display, they have put up a large poster of the Dooley Blues Band. Nicholas Furio, selected as one of the "10 Most Eligible Bachelors of Chicago" by Esquire Magazine and "Clothier of 2004" by Chicago Magazine, heard about The Dooley Blues Band on one of his recent buying trips to Milan, Italy.

"I was bombarded with questions about this Chicago Blues Band named The Dooley Blues. I've been so busy with the clothing business and my charitable work, I told my compatriots in Europe, I'd contact the band as soon as I came back. The manager of the band, Dan Dooley, came over and we talked of the European frenzy. He said there were some bootleg recordings of the band's earlier performances at Ballydoyles and that they were being bombarded for requests to tour Italy and France, but their commitments will keep them in the Chicago area for awhile. This Dooley is built like a bull, and Adam Pliszka, our distinguished clothier, helped 'The Bull' upgrade and refine his image to one of a cultured European gentleman. He got so many compliments that the entire band is being clothed by Dei Giovani. I'm working with our executives in Paris and Milan to officially endorse the Dooley Blues Band. In the interim, we are breaking all the rules and allowing them the premier location in our Madison Street window display to advertise their performance. We have been told that a little over 50,000 people walk by our store on a typical weekday. I sure hope this Ballydoyles has a large auditorium because our response already to the poster has been numbing! Our business is up 25 % just from the inquiring walk ins."
